Our classes at Pilates Plus LA are set in an inspiring small group setting. Lagree Fitness method is both high intensity and low impact and is adaptable to all fitness levels. The workout is safe, effective, efficient, and fun.

how to prepare

  • You must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your first class. Our coaches are required to explain the proper use of the Megaformer before the class starts. If you arrive late or when the class is starting, you will be unable to attend and forfeit your class credit. Please note we do not offer refunds.
  • Grip socks must be worn during class. If you don’t already own a pair we sell them at the studio, and try to wear comfortable athletic clothing.
  • Please make sure you have signed the waiver given by your coach.
  • Make sure to stay hydrated! Our recommendation is to bring a water bottle and a towel.
  • If you have any injuries, please let your coach know and they will provide modifications.
  • At PPLA, the lights are low, the music is high. We hope you love it as much as we do.
  • The Lagree method is challenging. Expect sweat, shakes, and after class soreness. Don't worry - it gets better the more you do it!

the megaformer

The workout is done on the one of a kind Megaformer™ which provides constant resistance and allow for continuous tension targeting your slow twitch muscle fibers while providing infinitely more exercise options than a traditional reformer. With each class, the physical focus will be on targeting each and every muscle to create muscle fatigue to sculpt strong, powerful and lean bodies while in a safe and controlled environment.

Don't worry - our trainers will provide a walkthrough of the machine during your first class!

during your class

Each class at PPLA is a a different full body workout, including lower body, upper body, abs and more.

Your trainer will explain how to do each exercise during the workout. Be sure to listen closely and don’t be afraid to ask questions! The trainers are there to help and can even correct your form if needed.

Our 45 minute class is for all fitness levels, and moves can be modified if needed.

Questions

When should I arrive to class?

New members must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of their first class. Our staff is required to explain the proper use of the Megaformer to new members before the class starts. You will be turned away for showing up late because it's a safety liability.

Do I need grippy socks?

Yes! At PPLA we require grippy socks. But don't worry, if you don’t already own a pair we sell them at the studio.

What is the class cancellation policy?

All bookings are required to be cancelled 12 hours prior to class start time to avoid $25 late cancellation fee.

Can I do the workout if I am pregnant?

If you are pregnant please talk to a doctor for approval before taking a Lagree class. However, our classes can be modified for pregnant women! Please notify the instructor before your class begins if you are pregnant.
